The Zenit 11 is a solidly-built camera with essentially the same Leica type cloth shutter as earlier Soviet rangefinder and SLR cameras. It has an external selenium meter mounted on the prism front above the lens. The meter isn’t coupled to the camera. The Zenit uses the M42 Pentax screw-mount lens which means there is a variety of lenses from all over the world that will fit it.

Comes with HELIOS-44m-4 58mm f/2.0 lens famous for it’s slightly swirly biotar style bokeh.

Helios-44 is a vintage soviet line of fast fixed focal length(prime) lenses, in high demand nowadays for their fast aperture(f/2), which opens up a world of possibilities for photographer – selective focusing, low light photography, great portraits with vintage feel and beautiful bokeh courtesy of Carl Zeiss Biotar formula in use; for their ability to be mounted on various camera systems via affordable and easily available adapters.

Both camera and lens are in excellent condition!
No issues to report, fully functional*.

*Note: pls note that the selenium meter is loosing accuracy with age and might need to be compensated by increasing in exposure by a certain factor.
