Medium format MOSKWA-5 camera from 1959
MADE IN USSR!
Foldable medium format Moskwa-5 camera, shooting 6x9cm or 6x6cm square negatives
This particular folder camera was made by KMZ in 1959.
The camera s/n 5930360 is in very good condition.
Camera body has some signs of normal use/age, which adds to the character.
Fully functional with the exception of the self-timer.
Lens is also in very good condition.
Optics are clean and clear, no haze, no fungus.
Some micro scratches from wiping / internal dust particles are present but nothing to affect the image quality.
All mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated and calibrated during recent check up – ready for film!
Only self-timer does not work – the timer release knob is missing on the camera so timer was left unserviced.
