Soviet rangefinder ZORKI-6 with silver Jupiter-8 50mm f/2

This Leica copy Zorki-6 is from 1960s, but already shares many features with Zenit SLRs which KMZ plant was manufacturing a little later.
This RF camera already has advance lever for cocking the shutter/advancing the film frame, hinged back for easier film reloading – features that are more common for SLRs rather then RF cameras.
Has wide rangefinder base for accurate focusing, large VF, simple reliable shutter without slow speeds mechanism.
Equipped with silver Jupiter-8, fast Sonnar type 50mm f/2.0 lens.
Jupiter-8 is a copy of the prewar Zeiss Sonnar 50mm f2 – classic fast soviet lens is successfully used on various Leica Mount rangefinder cameras, as well as modern mirrorless systems: Sony NEX, Olympus Pen, Panasonic G, Canon EOS M, Nikon 1, FujiFilm X etc.
Jupiter-8 has click-less step-less aperture operation with 9 aperture blades – which is great for video.
Shutter speeds can be set before or after cocking the shuttering this camera.
Camera s/n 640041053 is in very good to excellent condition, with full functionality.
Has very few visible signs of normal use on body(see photos).
The lens Jupiter-8 lens s/n 6404027 is in good condition.
Few signs of use/age on barrel.
Glass is clean and clear, no fungus, no haze.
Multiple micro scratches on the front element are present. Few internal dust particles are also present, but will not effect photos.
Mechanics are excellent, focusing is very smooth.
Aperture blades are free from oil.
It has been through professional Cleaning Lubricating Adjustment(CLA) – ready for film!
