ZORKI (Leica copy) rangefinder camera, from 1953-55

MADE IN USSR!

 

ZORKI rangefinders are Soviet copies of Leica camera and this is the Zorki-1, the first model. Rangefinder and viewfinder are still separate windows, and they are bottom loading cameras. One also needs to remember to cock the shutter before changing the shutter speeds.

On a brighter side – being almost a straight Leica copy, “Barnack” is among the smallest and the lightest rangefinders, and with it’s lens folded makes a really small package.

 

Camera(s/n 284493) is in good condition.

Has some visible signs of use/age on camera body, please see photos.

Camera is fully functional.

 

Lens is collapsible Industar-50 s/n 5974280  is in good condition.

 

Camera went through professional Cleaning Lubricating Adjustment with full disassembly, all mechanisms were cleaned, re-lubricated and readjusted – ready for film!

Functionally and mechanically the camera is a joy – everything works very accurate and smooth, pleasure to use.

 

Lens is collapsible Industar-22 s/n 5367731 is in very good condition.

Has few micro scratches from wiping / few internal dust particles, but these will not affect image quality.
