M42 Lens to Canon EOS EF plain adapter\u00a0–\u00a0no chip<\/p>\n

M42 to all Canon EOS mount adapter ring – the most basic adapter for using vintage m42 mount lenses on Canon EOS.<\/p>\n

*This adapter is compatible with all CANON (D)SLR camera models.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no ROM connection on the ring so diaphragm control of the lens is set manually.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The flanged adapter<\/strong>\u00a0has flange to\u00a0depress aperture pin on some lenses, which enables “stop down” mode when aperture has to be set on lens itself.
\nThis adapter is needed for the m42 lenses that have auto aperture mechanism(with aperture pin) and no A\/M switch, like Helios-44m-4,\u00a0Helios-44m-5,\u00a0Helios-44m-6,\u00a0Helios-44m-7.<\/p>\n

Flanged adapters\u00a0also work on lenses that do not have aperture pin – consider it “universal” adapter for clarity.<\/p>\n

The flangeless adapter <\/strong>does not have flange and is recommended for lenses that do not have Auto Aperture mechanism(or do have A\/M switch), like\u00a0Helios-44m,\u00a0Helios-44,\u00a0Helios-44-2.<\/strong><\/p>\n
