HELIOS-44-2 comparing to other Helios-44 versions
The 44-2 is appreciated most of all for itโs 8 blades of aperture, which create more natural looking bokeh(later versions of the lens although often sharper have less blades in aperture, rendering highlights in the background as less natural shapes).
Helios-44-2 also has silent(clickless) and gradual(stepless) aperture control ring โ great news for videographers.

Lens barrel has few visible signs of use/age.
Glass is clean and clear โ has no fungus, no haze.
Rear element has some hairline scratches.
