Three LOMO screw-in filters, two neutral density and one yellow-green, each in its own original LOMO case.
The two neutral density filters change no colours at all, they only cut the light: НС-2х by one stop, НС-4х by two stops. They let you shoot a fast lens wide open in bright sun, or use a slower shutter speed, on colour or B&W film alike.
ЖЗС-5 is a yellow-green filter for black & white film. Like a yellow filter it darkens a blue sky so the clouds stand out, and the green part of it also renders foliage and skin tones more naturally.
The Soviet marking reads simply: НС = нейтральное стекло (neutral glass), ЖЗС = жёлто-зелёное стекло (yellow-green glass), and the 2х / 4х is the filter factor, i.e. how much to increase the exposure. All three screw into a 40.5×0.5 thread, the filter size of Soviet rangefinder lenses such as the Jupiter-8, Jupiter-12 and Industar-26M, and of any other lens with a 40.5mm filter thread.
